The notion of voting for a President based on his opinion of video games is absurd.

How about the notion of voting for a President with a positive opinion on video games?

Honestly, I don't give a rat's ass about the President's opinion on gaming. The stance on gaming is just one part of a greater whole of social freedom and individual rights. If that opinion on gaming differs from their greater stance on civil liberties, video games take the back seat and I will defer to the larger perspective.
