I like games with good graphics, but I don't see MS first party games having a problem there. The main problem I have is that they have a massive lack of AAA new IP's from first or second party.
343 will be on halo duty for as long as they exist, it's in their name. Black Tusk/The Coalition were formed solely to make Gears of War games.
Turn 10 and Forza is understandable, as there's little point making a new racing IP. Like Polyphony and Gran Turismo.
Naughty Dog, Guerrilla, Sucker Punch, Santa Monica, Quantic Dream etc don't have to make the same franchise every 2/3 years, giving a fresher and more diverse output imo.
We have Remedy with one of my most anticipated games, Quantum break, and the 2nd party Scalebound that I know some people are really excited about. But that's only 2 games...
But I trust Phil Spencer will be trying to help the situation but it'll likely not be sorted in the next couple of years.
