The problem with MS first party for me is that I'm done with Gears and Fable, Halo 4 was fun but I'm not really excited about another one, which just leaves Forza. Not really enough to justify a console purchase
Hopefully Quantum break turns out to be awesome to persuade me to complete the set.

To me this is not so important, to be honest. Most games I have on 360 are multiplats and I don't care if a game is exclusive or not :) Doesn't change the game itself in any way. The reason I chose a 360 last gen was not only because of 1st party (though I like Forza and Forza Horizon a lot) but better multiplats and I never got used to a dual-shock, the controller was way better for my hands so this was an easy choice for me.

Sure, if you already have a PS4 and there are no games on Xbone you want to play, then there is of course no reason to buy the system.

Yep, I already have the ps4 and I actually prefer the DS4 over the xbox controller.

I started out with a 360 last gen and live gold. Yet a couple rrods in a row changed my multiplat preference to ps3 (not being able to play for 3 weeks gets old fast) which also led me to cancel live gold. I still enjoyed FH in single player, but getting gold again for one game seemed rather dumb. Meanwhile I had signed up for ps+ for the discounts and extra games so the transition to ps4 was an easy choice.

I would love to play FH2, but that's about all I want to play on XB1 atm. Just can't justify it with a huge backlog on ps4 already. I was hoping for a PGR5 announcement at E3, and MS bringing Dirt rally to XB1 would have sealed the deal immediately. Rallisport challenge 3 will do it too.

I got to try the DS4 at Gamescom last year but only for a few minutes. I think the DS4 is way better than the old dual-shocks but I couldn't get used to the triggers, sadly. I guess I would have to use it more often to adjust to them.

But yes, so we end up buying because of reasons and I am glad I bought a 360 slim model as my first model, I never had a problem with it, thing runs with close to no noise (I install all my games if not digital).

The thing is that MS indeed has many good games on Xbone, in my opinion. Games that really would deserve high sales, too, and the difference in quality of first party games also do not justify the sales difference between the two systems which is why I think that people always telling that it's first party games that make a difference is just not true, at least not as the only parameter.

Again, in my opinion Sony could easily win this gen even without their 1st party games by now. PS4 just has the "go to"-image this gen.

Why should they do this? Sony is making less money from third party games than first party games. If EA sells a game sony is only getting 11% while selling a copy of Bloodborne gives them almost 100%
