AC Black Flag was the only AC game that I actually liked in fairness.
To be honest as well this gen so far, I've had the most fun with games that review as mediocre or don't even get that much coverage. Ive either played to completion or given a lot of time to games like Infamous, Rogue Legacy, Pure Pool, Final Fantasy Remaster, Lords Of The Fallen, Driveclub etc. Hell, I even platinumed Riptide GP2 the other day and absolutely loved it for the 10 hours or so it took me to complete it.
Have looked a few times actually at Bound By Flame. Is it good?
It was the same for me though in a lot of circumstances last gen too. Some of the best games I played were the ones that all reviews told you not to. Games like Nier, Deadly Premonition, Singularity, Kingdoms Of Amalur, Shadows Of The Damned all provided me with way more entertainment than reviews would suggest they should.
