Which company appeals more to hardcopre gamers... Microsoft or Sony?

They're both pretty even, but the 360 has the games atm. I picked a ps3 because of the games I will be playing in the near future (MGS4, FF13, and so on), but my pc is my "360"-or i could just play my roommates 360.
