Oh man, we could never be roommates, hahaha!
I borrowed someone's wattage meter power strip, and even though some components have changed since then, my PC draws anywhere from 130-150 watts at idle... At full load, it was closing in on 800 watts! *sigh* ._.
I also turn off every light except the room I'm in, and use cruise control to drive the speed limit to save gas, lol... And it's ironic considering that my car has more than enough power to literally breathe gas, though I don't consider it "fast" by any standards!
