Russia and the U.S. are relatively poor so that's understandable. I'm dubious about the UK - they must have made bad choices if they cannot afford to eat. As for India, I revised my statement to hundreds of millions cannot afford 3 square meals. Something like 95% of the country live on under $5 a day.

yes it is hundreds of millions, but the poveryty rate is about 25% of the population not 95%, still rather extreme just not as bad as you make it out to be.
