Honestly, gay marriage is a fairly minor issue for me. I'm happy for gay people, and I see no reason why they shouldn't be married, but it doesn't have a tremendous influence over my life. Honestly, it shocks me that 4 justices voted against it.
I'm far more concerned about the absolutely disastrous citizens united decision, which, as opposed to gay marriage, actually is a threat to our democracy.
