The closest thing that could be said is that it's been a little while since the last major release for the PS3, but that's about it.


The funny thing is that all the latest major releases have been multiplatform.  Dark Sector, Rainbow 6: Vegas, Devil May Cry 4, Condemned 2, Army of Two, and Viking.  I can't think of any major titles that have been released that have been exclusive to one of the 2 HD consoles, except GT5 Prologue, which ironically, is on the PS3.

OT:  Very impressive numbers.  I picked up GTA 4 for the PS3 yesterday from Circuit City.  They had 3 copies left after I bought a copy, and the guy behind me bought one.  I didn't see any XBox360 copies (probably sold out).  They had about 3 XBox360 SE copies, and about 6 PS3 SE copies.


Add Burnout and MGO. The first of which was slightly better on PS3 and the 2nd exclusive to PS3. Oh right, and the best baseball game ths year is MLB08: The Show, another PS3 exclusive. Yeah, nothing to play... Nevermind that GTA sold tremondously well on PS2 (all 3 being among the most ever) where the game lineup was unprecedented.
