The exodus of Puerto Ricans is led by professionals. Puerto Rico is bleeding professionals and not "barely educated migrant workers" which makes the situation even more dire.

Recently we had people from the US coming here looking for teachers, police officers and people to work for the border patrol. They always seem very interested in looking for bilingual workers who can help with their Spanish to deal with the increasing Spanish speaking population in the US.

Sorry for link to Wiki, but it seems that so far Puerto-Ricans occupy low end of the US income spectrum, so I naturally assumed that majority are not exactly professionals, even though some might be.

Not that I have high hopes for the majority of the Americans to sustain these levels mid-term regardless of high or low end they are, so Puerto Rico here is not by any means a black sheep, just one of the first.
