Well... There is no point of being glad for it :)
While I disagree with the OP on the reason (the reason, is simply money and the potential of making babies with it :) and nothing to do with special or out of the ordinary partnership), it sucks for Microsoft to do not have the deal. Even if you do not like it, it would have helped the Xbox brand in general like it will help the Playstation one.
