I think hordes are just as bad. Once you beat the Pokemon league, there should just be a series of trainers with teams of like Blisseys at incredebly high levels that you can battle repeatedly so you can level up quickly.
And with the "choose your own stat distribution apon leveling up," you wouldn't need to worry about all the HP BP you don't want. Post game should be all about making is effortless to build your ultimate team.
