I think what Reggie meant with that is that they want to start doing the thing of announcing stuff that will release within 1 year or so NOW, probably because of Yoshi, Zelda and Xenoblade that we have waited for so long and they don't want to do that anymore. That doesn't excuse them of doing it in the past but again I think they want to change that.

Reggie said "we fundamentally beleive"    so that is not implying something new---It is Reggie just being full of BS -- Reggie does not beleive what he is saying-  he does not expeet reasonable or informed people to beleive his trash talk-  but he gives the fan boys a little red meat to latch onto or even beieve if they are predisposed to delusion
