Welcome to VGCharts Kenny and I agree with most of your post - what I love about the Wii is that Nintendo may have predicted and combatted the third parties lack of effort with the Wiiware channel.
The developer of lost winds already said in a video interview that he loves it because you normally have to submit a video to a publisher and sell the idea to them then they move the goalposts and have their input and that takes budget and time. He then went on to say that even on PSN and XBL you have to submit a demo and get MS / Sony's approval so it's very similar but with Wiiware it's just more run with the idea and release it.
This is genious from Nintendo's behalf and their little white box is becoming very open when you also consider Majestico have just announced they have found a way of using the Wii's system id to bypass friend codes, BBC are apparantly looking to have a permanent iplayer channel on the Wii and new Wii engines and dev tools are being made.
The Wii will make several other companies a lot of money and raise their profile no matter how little the Epics and Ubisofts support the Wii.
