Halo 5 will have no local split-screen for Campaign or MP - "performance related compromise"

Split screen games are such rare occurence these days, it doesn't come as a surprise.
Guess half of it is performance, and the other larger half the need to sell additional online subscriptions.

Hopefully Gears of War will have split screen, I never liked Halo, but Gears games co-op with my wife were great fun.
