I'm glad to see that we're working towards acceptance of others. As long as no one else is being harmed by someone's actions, we should live and let live. I don't think that following these principals will lead to moral degradation. Wrong action comes from violating another's rights, not from upsetting prudes. The following are good examples:
-Rape is wrong because it is non-consensual, and harmful both mentally and physically.
-Pedophilia is wrong because children aren't of a maturity level to consent to sex, and it is therefor rape (see above).
