I fell in love with a franchise because of a digital sale. SMT IV for $15. Bought REvelations for $20. Bought Darksiders 2 for $20. Street Fighter IV 3D for $20. Just played my first MGS for $20. And a lot of these games go for much cheaper now. If you're saying digital pricing isn't competitive, you're lying to yourself. |
I can't speak for the Wi U already been competative but the PS4 and Xbox One are not theres a game ever once in a while that releases at same price as retail and the rest are overpriced. Berlow is Amazon vs Xbox Store price.
Lego Jurassic World £31.64 vs £44.99
Elder Scrolls Online £39.99 vs £49.99
Witcher 3 £39.99 vs £44.99
Batman Arkham Knight £39.85 vs £54.99
Just a few of the more recent games to of released, None of them are remotely competative price wise and gives no incentive at all to even think about purchasing digital over a physical copy.
