Translation: We hope Sony will continue to fund out games, as we are unable to anymore due to our financial shortcomings.
I'm sure other companies were approached about funding games, but passed. Cheaper to buy the IP's when the company goes bust, and they have to liquidate everything to pay back debt, and investors.
