Am I the only one who hates the trend of being forced online being sold dlc platforms which are incomplete games. There are a few games who have integrated the online multiplayer into the single player very well, they are complete games, and you don't have to worry about them pulling the plug on the game. I think Arma, GTA V, and even dying light all integrated their online multiplayer into the single player and single player campaigns basically hold up the game with 20+ hour campaigns. In contrast to Destiny, and Evolve, and a few others.

Not sure why people are buying this stuff because when a game is only online not only do you have to worry about them shutting down the servers which happens a whole lot (type video game server shutdowns into google and you will see long lists, some just after 1 or 2 years) or even the online community simply moving onto the next trendy things 6 months down the line. Evolve for instance, I have heard the online community is basically dead on PC.

Seriously, if you guys look for games outside of Activision, Ubisoft, and EA, there are a ton of really good games, and I mean AAA quality being put out by lesser known or smaller studios, they just don't advertise them as much.

No one buys a game to support a movement, if you do so, then that is sad. If I were to buy destiny, it would be because it is fun. If it also happens to have online only, oh well, the developer may have a good reason to do so (to combat hacking and modding for example). No one is forcing anyone to only buy games from ea or activision. I tend to buy games of all kinds, and I don't care who it comes from as long as it is fun
