Very positive news and another indicator at least in the USA that religion's influence is reducing. I'm not gay but its absolutely none of my business if two same sex people love each other and want to make their partnership official in law.
Unfortunately on the other side of the coin the islamic extremists will see it as another reason to hate the USA and western countries.
However for me it does make the world seem a slightly better place now. I don't live in the USA so don't know how this came about but a job well done for those who managed to achieve this.
