The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled same-sex marriage legal across the United States. The 14 states that previously banned same-sex marriage can no longer enforce this, and must repeal these bans.

The plaintiffs in the case asked "for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right." As marriage licenses are being issued to states that prohibited same-sex marriage, the fights and struggles for the rights of gay marriage come to a close.

As someone who is not gay nor bisexual, this is amazing news, and this should be honored as a great accomplishment for the U.S.
