Thumbs up though! Dreamcast rocks. I passed up buying one for 20 bucks and Grandia 3 (?) for 5. Wish I had never gotten rid of my first one though.. Heh, I will always remember 9.9.99 and my jaw hitting the floor as we played Soul Calibur and Sonic. |
Ok, people and sources seem to say that Dreamcast was the first to go online. Can someone just clear this up, I'm pretty sure I'm right but I hate being unsure. |
Dreamcase was the first to have online in the system without having to buy anything extra. It was the first machine that could go online out of the box... and really pushed the feature. |
Thanks, now everyone's claims can be reconciled, everyone was kind of right. Thanks, but still wow, I didn't know SNES and Genesis could do it at all. Crazy. |
Or at least I think that's the case.

There might of been some crazy "gaming computer" console early on that had a modem, but i doubt it.
