I'm still wondering why people want a remake of an FF game but not have tha ATB. You want a game with FF15 gameplay, play that, you want Crisis Core, play that. FF7 should remain with FF7 gameplay. But then I don't want any extended Universe story involved in FF7, either, leave Crisis Core prequel stuff and DoC sequel stuff out of FF7, it was fine on it's own, still is. Yeah, by the same logic, if you want FF VII, play FF VII.
FFVIIR won't be FFVII. It will be FFVIIR.
It seems what a lot of people want from this remake is a better coating and nothing else changed. But you guys should get over it already since Nomura already stated that this isn't the approach they are taking for this remake and that he doesn't want to make an other "static" battle system like the original FFVII. For all we know, the new battle system might be better than the original. We'll most likely get fixed about it all when they finally reveal more about the project this next winter.
