I love steam. The idea of buying a game like GTA 3 for a measly $9 and then being able to play it on any computer from now till the end of time is fantastic. I hate losing CDs or forgetting CD keys, but knowing that in 75 years if I find myself in a shack in Tasmania. All I need to do is borrow a random laptop and I will be able to play a GTA or portal, or any of my life's game collection. In fact I am getting reluctant to buy games that aren't on Steam. I think "cool game but I actually need to carry this CD around with me wherever I go... I'll just wait till it comes out on steam"
