Agree actually. For Sony's bottom line a longer generation (7-8 years) allowing them to hold various price points is better financially than cutting for market share only to reset in a few years.

Yep, also nintendo can do do whatever but the last thing then need to get into is a short gen that is a price war with MS.  MS them selves are not looking to start that only lowering X1 price sub 50 of the PS4 price knowing damn well thay need more to truely challange while accepting the fact that forcing sony into cutting PS4 price is a death wish for the X1.
