While the "PC Master Race" saying is ridiculous and caused many childish arguments over the years, I think that disregarding the advantages of PC gaming completely is close-minded.

I'll take myself as an example (because I'm awesome). I tend to favor console exclusives when choosing what I wanna play, those are the games I buy at launch but there's still loads of 3rd party games that I'm interested in. By the time I'm ready to play those games, they've been out for 3-4 months sometimes even more and I can get them for dirt cheap on Steam.

If I limited myself to only consoles, I'd probably just skip playing those games or at least I'd be paying a whole lot more for them. The console-PC combo boosts my gaming potential greatly.
