Are the "PC Master Race" days over?

Why wait for a patch that might not fix things or even come at all when you can get a refund and buy if and when it is fixed?  Possibly at a lower price.  The Steam refund period is only 14 days and 2 hours of playtime.  How often are busted games actually completely fixed within two weeks?  SimCity?  Master Chief Collection?  Battlefield 4?  etc

As for the topic, the state of PC versions of multiplatform games is far better than back in 2008 when the "PC master race" term was coined.

PC problems get fixed much faster than console problems.  BF4 problems did not exist on PC.
