The thing is that Lionhead has worked on nothing but Fable since 2004 that's 11 years. They can't be a one trick pony studio forever they need to diversify their portfolio, I agree that the RPG Fable games never reached their full potential and understand the importance of the IP for Xbox but it franchise needs a break.
