As for your gameplay example, I don't think it works very well. Have you ever played one of those porn flash games on Newgrounds? Thats pretty much what you just described. It isn't fun, it isn't interesting and it certainly isn't intuitive. Those tend to get away with the lack of intuitiveness by putting all of the buttons on the screen, but asking the player to learn a whole new set of buttons for a few minutes of sex doesn't really work very well and it isn't meaty or interesting enough to be a large segment of a game. Games already have issues with control over a character and during sex, control over a character is all that matters. You would need an extremely specific control setup that was extremely precise to give the player any degree of agency...

I really don't see your point. Are you saying no one should ever even try because right now we can't come up with the perfect situation from a 5 minute discussion on a forum?
That seems extremely limiting and boring. Every single genre was born through experimentation and has gone through multiple revisions and changes. Why is this any different?
