I have two projects in mind, though at the rate I'm learning to use Unreal 4 might as well just die of old age without having finished anything xD
One is a free-roaming on-rails detective story; I've thought deeply on this one, and I have two different versions with two different cast and two different stories altogether, I can't decide for which one to go. On one version, you play as a private eye who stumbles upon a crime and a singular writer called Lucky; they both team up and end up discovering the secrets behind the city they live in. Game would play going from locations, mixing up clues you get in order to bring up results, and some confrontational moments on which you shoot your way out, Time Crisis style. The other version would feature a contracted hitman, a para-medic and a journalist that have to solve three different misteries in three different places on the world that end up connected somehow. Gameplay would remain largely the same.
The other one is a traditional RPG àla japanese style (think of FF IV) featuring three protagonists who design a flying machine that allows them to explore the world past the ocean, since the water in this universe seems to kill everything that ventures in it.
