I've made a lot of concepts for games I'd like to make once I learn animation, programming, musical composition, how to play a guitar, how to play the bass, how to play the drums, how to make electronic music, how to play piano, how to sing gud, how to dance like a fucking ninja, marketing abilities, and get six-pack just for shitz and girlfriends.
1. One I had in mind would be a 2D platformer similar to Sonic, especfically SA2 (Sonic stages), when it would come to level design and overall gameplay, the game would revolve around going fast and keeping a very good flow of speed constantly, speed which would increase everytime you filled a "motion" meter by interacting with the enviroment in a stylish manner, similarly to the "Flow Motion" ability in Kingdom Hearts: DDD. The game would allow for multiple strategies for the player to take in regards of completing a level faster thanks to the multiple special abilities that would deplenish the "motion" meter everytime they were used, sacrificing your general speed to create specific short-cuts using said abilities.
The game would feature and aesthetic similar to that of Jet Set Radio (graffitti and shit), and would feature furries instead of humans, just so that I can fill the void that Crash has left in my heart.
I would call this game; "Flow Overdrive"
2. This one would be an JRPG inspired by the Mario RPGs, mainly the Paper Mario series, this one wouldn't be a normal JRPG though, the point of this game would be to create an incredibly intuitive combat system that relies just as much in skill as in does in strategy, in other words, preparing for battles, being rewarded for it, while actually playing the game too! It would even give you a challenge at it! While doing this, the game would exclude all the bullshit that its come to be expected out of JRPGs that system limitations created and became the standard over the years (AKA ALL the bullshit; random encounters, luck based gameplay, timed side-quests, gameplay that doesn't even seem like gameplay after you've reached a certain level, ALL OF IT, GONE!). All of this while still creating a unique and charming universe with characters that people would remember and (hopefully) be fond of.
This one, I'd like to imagine that would invent its own sub-genre in the JRPG thingy, a Turn-Based Action RPG, sound good? Let's hope so. I'd call it " SOMETHING/SOMEONE's Story", the name needs some work, I guess.
3. Fuck the turn-based bullshit, this one would go all out in its crazy as fuck action, it would be a Action RPG inspired by some of the mechanically finest HackN'Slashers on the genre, with a big emphasis on costumization and finding your own play-style, and with its world constructed like a good MetroidVenia tittle. Inspired by the gameplay found in Kingdom Hearts 2 and the Command System in its Birth By Sleep brother, and Devil May Cry 4's combat depht, the game would have a very satysfying, very fast, and very controllable meele combat system, that would serve primarily to make enemies stagger, with the "Commands" shit being the primary source of heavy damage, each "Command" would blend seemlessly any time it would've executed in middle of a combo, making said combo larger by extension, while sacrifising a bit of Magic/Mana/Energy/someshit to execute each "Command". The game would be very vertsityle moveset-whise and would allow for extreme accuracy when it comes to being succesful in battles without and not taking damage. There would be a system that would reward you for playing gud, keeping a combo going, not taking any damage, etc. The better you do, the more powerful and your normal attacks would be. Blocking and Dodging would be a big part of what makes the normal attacks very important in combat, too. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND other shit, it would be amazing, trust me, I just need to get gud at all the things that I mentioned above and I'll make this shit a reality, but right now, I'm falling sleep yo, need mah bed.
4. A Stylish Shooter, taking place in a computer world with lots of crazy powers and interesting level set-pieces, and I'm still nowhere near done with this idea, I'll come back to this idea later, maybe, if I don't forget.
5. I'd like to invent a new genre, let's see how that works out.
1 to 3 are all 2D, so they're doable, I think. That's all I have folks, now, I'm going to bed. Fuck, sorry for the all the mispelling but I'm mexican as shit and I'm too lazy for me to fix this shit, eh, it's understadable I guess, don't be picky.
I'm now filled with determination.
