I think it's childish. It's like Politics for Kids (but usually more sophisticated than politics). If you're satisfied with the console you chose, then that's all that matters. There's no reason to try and "justify" your decision by bashing on the competition
Although it is often funny to watch... It's amazing what lengths people will go to in order to prove their plastic box is better than another plastic box.
