It's nice that this is available for new buyers, and old buyers can easily (and I do mean easily) replace the stock HDD in their system for a higher capacity one if they ever want/need to. I'm a little surprised this wasn't available right away on launch day considering how far the prices for 1TB HDD's even for consumers have fallen, but in the end, it was far from a deal breaker apparently.
Edit: I do wonder when it's coming for other territories. Apparently stocking all of Europe and PAL territories is easier than stocking the US or anywhere else for that matter. I guess a simultaneous release isn't super important, but it's still good to get the system out everywhere in some relatively close timeframe.
