Would this put the nail in the coffin for the excitement people had of backwards compatibility? Would this also mean that software emulation isn't the method that should be utilized for backwards compatibility?
Either way, looking at such a downgrade doesn't help the limited list Microsoft has revealed. Hopefully these issues are somehow solved if software emulation is a workaround. If not, would Microsoft forgo into more cross platform play with PC?
