| jjseth said: I honestly don't know where some of the trolls are coming up with how PSN is a inferior online service? When I play online, I look for one main thing. That it's up and working and I can get a fairly lag free experience. (That can be dependent on other peoples connections, so I cannot fault sony on that). I've never been disappointed by the PSN's quality and it's been up and solid far more then temporary blips here and there for certain games during maintenance. When a online game on the PSn goes down, it doesn't halt ALL online games liek Live does. I still have a choice to go to MGO, or COD4, or whatever I want should I want to play GTA4 online and get some multiplayer smackdowns. That said, I haven't attempted to log online for GTA4 until I have gone further into the game on singleplayer. :) |
Exactly. What site did those head-to-head comparisons, 4 games at a time... was it Gamespot? Anyway, CoD4 and some other games on PS3 got the nod over the 360 versions largely because PSN's online gameplay was lag-free compared to that on XBL.
And it's free. And it doesn't go down as often (let's see if this outage is as bad as XBL's in January...).
Thanks for starting this thread, starcraft. Exceptions often help to prove the rule.
