In discussing disc format (aka. Media) I wonder if any company is considering returning to cartrige-type flash drives (or solid State) in the future.
It would make sense - technology is getting cheaper and smaller - read-speed is much faster than disc formats, they'd generate no noise, practially no heat and use much less power.
