But I think most of the stuff we mentioned were part of the story, not gameplay.  Getting shot in gameplay isn't the same as getting shot in a cutscene.  Cutscenes are "cannon".  We don't know what happens at the end of that UC4 video because it cuts off.  For all we know, Nate dies and we play as Raiden for the rest of the game.
