It may be pushing on the shorter side of dev times, but I've no doubt they've already got quite a bit of the work done, 14 months of work is still a lot of work. If they weren't confident that had made enough progress in that time then they wouldn't have scheduled a release period already. Maybe they will have an unexpected hitch and have to delay it or something, but that's a risk regardless of how long they've already been working on it.

But they just showed a CGI trailer...more than half way through the dev cycle and they don't have any gameplay to show?
