This ain't about me, but I still have my first gen ps3, it still plays fine, and if it dies I won't care because I don't play ps3 games anymore. I've beatin my games, collected their trophies, I can sell my games. main reason I have a ps4 is to play ps4 games in the first place. No big deal.
