No they are alright
I tink most games should be unveiled 1.5 years early like E3 the year before it fall release so that they can suprise build the hype and then showcase gameplay at next years E3
but for sometime titles like GTA,MGS,FINAL FANTASY,GRAN TURISMO or other great titles,they could push it to 2-3years as those franchises have the brand name to back them up and are very very high quality which takes time but that might damage sales and hype as 3 years can be too long
