Sony already tried making LoD2 at one point around 2011 and cancelled it. The first one was fun, but flawed in many ways. I can't see Sony ever going out of the way to actually make a JRPG themselves anymore, because they can just let the PS4 sell and force Japanese devs to be exclusive or lose money on an Xbox port.
