Regardless of the freedom the game might give you, It's still built on gameplay systems. Seems fair that a game journalist ask about them. Is it better to discover them by yourself? That could be said about any other game. Things are better when they are fresh and freed of spoilers. I think No Man Sky fans are currently more enamored with the concept of the game than the gameplay itself. They are being way too defensive.
