I think Wii U will pull even with the GameCube by generation's end.

No it doesn't have Resident Evil or Metroid or Animal Crossing ...

BUT it has Splatoon, Bayonetta 1/2, Xenoblade, and Mario Maker + NSMB (2D Mario) ... something the GameCube didn't have.

Mario 3D World, Smash U, DKC: TF, Mario Kart 8 are also equal or better than their equivalents on the GameCube.

If Zelda U is better than Wind Waker, IMO that tips the scales in favor of the Wii U.

you're nuts

Xenoblade and Mario Maker are the only points you really have. 2D Mario's these days just aren't appreciated that much

there was no primary DK game on the Gamecube so that is an irrelevant point to make.  Mario 3D World is apples and oranges to Sunshine, they're TOTALLY different

Smash Melee is the highest rated Smash game of all time both by ratings and fans so I find it interesting that you say that. also Mario Kart DD is highly received by fans so, again, subjective opinion

Gamecube had Eternal Darkness (NEW IP), Animal Crossing (NEW IP), the best version of any Resident Evil game that generation (4), Luigi's Mansion (new IP of sorts and great), Fire Emblem (New to region), a strong Metroid installment (questionable if Wii U will get one at all), F-Zero GX, TWO Zelda Installments, multiple Star Fox games (maybe not the highest quality but at least effort was applied)

you're just way out of bounds. maybe not a big fan of the Gamecube, but don't let that clout realistic judgement
