moving past the snarky comments....
...because i've seen vita's sales and i completely understand why sony isn't investing in the platform. it's a money sink for AAA development. yes it sucks but it is too be expected. as an early adopter of the system i knew this outcome was possible. sony has done a good job at getting indies and downloadables to be cross platform (ps4/vita) and just don't expect any more with such a failure of a system.
even still, i'm pretty happy with my vita. the AAA "console like" games just didn't feel good on vita. they always felt like they would have been better on ps4. the indies just feel better on the small screen and so long as the stream of indies keep landing on the platform,.. so long as i get my free 2 games per month,.. i'm going to be happy enough. i have soo many games for it via ps+ that that is now how i look at vita: my free games machine.
in summary: consoles carry larger expectations than handhelds.
