A few probably see this as the best chance to get something for the 360 or PS3 into the top spot, and decided to boost the score all the way to the max.

That said, there are enough honest revewiers out there that it might be getting an artificial boost, and some nintendo games getting an artifical lower, but I am sure it averages out to less than one point.

wow, are you serious? I buy the advertisement theory more than this one. These reviewers dont worry about this stuff.


 I am serious, but....  figure only 10% of reviewers would bias their scores that way.  Wouldn't call it a conspiracy, just their personal desire for high-def to rule the market over controls.  It's a great game no matter how you look at it, and although it may have a slight impact on it's place in the charts, it will not be enough to make much difference.  I mean, if a game has a 99 or 92, I will be about as likely to get it.
