You do realise that people funding the game will get it right? So "donation" is not the right word. They're buying the rewards listed.

They are testing to see if people are interested by trying to have them raise 2 mil dollars to see if it's worth it. That is one of the worst things I have ever heard. I am plenty sure some people gave more than the bare minimum for the game. This is going down a very dangerous route. I don't want this to end up where people have to give money just to check if some games are worth making. It's seems outright awful.

What is bad about it? You give whatever you want, and in the end, you get what you've paid for, based on how much money you pledged.

How is this bad in any way, tell me.
