I was excited before the event, but not so much after. In reality there are a few games that will appeal to my family for the rest of the year such as Woolly World and Mario Maker which will probably fill the run up to holidays just fine.

I am left a little hollow though, mostly because I am not that interested in Xenoblade nor the 3DS so the presentation was filled with decent but not great games that I already knew about. One great reveal for a game during holidays would have made me a lot happier, for example a real Animal Crossing game (even just a slight redo of New Leaf akin to City Folk would be great) and I would have no (serious) complaints.

The presentation does have a weird feel of Nintendo not putting everything they could out there though which made me think the Treehouse stuff would be more exciting than it has been.

Oh well, without valleys there can be no peaks.
