It's more like the fanbase is oblivious to the fact that the Wii U is a money-sucking, dead console. Nintendo needs to get out of that thing as fast as possible and that's what we've witnessed here today.

Now, I'm not defending this conference, it truly did suck; for me the 3DS showing sucked the most. Them moving on to better horizons (hopefully) in the NX did not make for a good showing and was quite lacklustre, I completely agree. But abandoning Nintendo because of a single conference? That is an over-reaction.

I admit that I have to think more about this, I'm obviously in a rant because that conference, as you said, sucked. Man, I expected such great things for this conference, and not a single one of they come to reality... I'm too fuckin' angry right now, sorry :(
