Not sure if Sony is winning...
The Last Guardian looks nice, but is released somewhere in 2016.
The Shenmue III kickstarter says the game will be released by december 2017 (we'll see).
Final Fantasy VII Remake will launch in 2017.

Microsoft focussed on games coming out this holiday and at the beginning of 2016, and although I don't know what game it is: ReConnect looks really interesting. Also MS will have some cool stuff coming out in 2016 and 2017 as well, but they didn't show it yet. They took a whole other approach to this year's E3.

I think it's therefore difficult to say who won. It's like comparing apples and oranges. In the end, I can only say I was more excited during the Microsoft conference, and for someone growing up with Sony consoles that's saying a lot. I love the fact that Shenmue III is coming, but I can hardly remember how the second one ended when I played it on the OG Xbox back in the day. Don't get me wrong: I WILL play that game, but December 2017 seems such a long time away. Also FFVII is one of my favorite games of all time, but do I want to play it yet another time? I'm not really sure... I also played Grim Fandango back in the day, and while the announcement last E3 got me excited again, in the end, I actually didn't feel like playing the game again. I love the romantic memories I have of these games.

All I know is that, for now, the only next gen console that is giving me games I really WANT to play is WiiU. Yes, I'm excited as hell for Fallout 4, but will probably wait for the GOTY (polished) experience. I only just started playing New Vegas, so I can wait. And unless Square Enix confirms that FFXV will be coming out this year still, I see no need to jump on the PS4 or XBO bandwagon yet. I'll just be playing Persona 5 on my PS3, the new Tomb Raider on my X360, and Xenoblade X on my WiiU.
