So I am assuming Sony still has some control over where FF VII goes, so it will probably not expand platforms? Though maybe Sony's control ended this year which allows SE to put the game on any platform. Or maybe Sony has 20-year rights and they end in 2017, which is when the game will come out and one year later SE (2018) will be free to publish on any platform it likes. SE was holding off the remake until it could cast a wide platform net. Maybe they are even waiting for Wii U to be replaced so they can put it on Nintendo as well, (again 2018 is looking good for a new Nintendo console that has equal or better specs than PS4bone, and no gamepad).
